    Join us for the Sycamore Education Foundation’s Trivia Night!

      Sycamore Education Foundation (SEF) is hosting its third annual Trivia Night fundraiser later this month! Join us on Friday, February 24 at 6:30 p.m. at the Regale Center, 124 ½ S. California Street, in downtown Sycamore. The event will last until around 9 p.m., and is sure to be a great time! We’ve had a blast in each of the last couple years. You can form a team of anywhere from 4 to 10 players. The winner gets a cash prize, but more importantly, bragging rights as champions of this year’s trivia night tournament! Want to sign up? Here’s what you should know: Tickets are now available for purchase at the following link: Each person must pay $35, which includes the team fees, admission to the appetizer bar, one drink ticket, and, of course, a donation to support students and educators in the district. As previously mentioned, teams should be from four to 10 people. Get registered now and show us what type of niche knowledge you’ve got!

    Alumni News: Taco Shop Goes Viral

    A Sycamore alumnus was in the news recently after posting a video on TikTok that went viral. Isabel Milan was interviewed by NBC Chicago after a TikTok video about her mother’s restaurant gained more than 51 million views and counting. Isabel’s video showed her mother sitting at a table and staring out the window toward the street, waiting for customers to arrive at her empty restaurant. The footage included Isabel writing “it breaks my heart to see my mom watching the door everyday waiting for a customer to walk in,” and was captioned “I wish I could give her customers for Christmas.”
